He completed his residency in family medicine in Corpus Christi, Texas, and has been in private practice in Houston, Texas since 1995. He is board certified in Family Medicine and with The Institute for Functional Medicine. He recently shifted from primary care practice to semi-retirement with the practice of functional medicine in different capacities that support various integrative therapies.
